Appointment information

How do I book an appointment?

There are four ways you can book an appointment:

  • Call 0458 441 898
  • Use the online booking form
  • Send a message using the Contact Us form
  • Send an email to catherine@nourishnurtureblossom.com.au


Do I need a referral letter from my GP?

Whilst you do not need a referral letter from your GP to access the service, it can be very helpful in providing an overall picture for your care, providing information regarding your medical history, current medications, and any recent relevant blood or other test results.


If you choose to obtain a referral from your GP, you should also discuss your eligibility to engage in an Enhanced Primary Care Plan. This will allow you to claim a Medicare rebate on some sessions.

What are the costs?

For private clients: 

  • Initial appointment: $210
  • 1 hr review: $170
  • 30 minute review: $85


Fees are payable at the time of consultation or in advance via direct debit.


For NDIS or workers compensation clients: 

  • Each consultation is 1 hr and attracts a fee of $193.99. 


For those that are plan managed, an invoice will be sent directly to your plan manager. For those who are self-managed, you can either pay at the end of your appointment, then make a claim, or an invoice will be issued to you to claim before payment.

Speak to your GP to see if you are eligible for one of the following care plans:

  1. Enhanced Primary Care Plan - allows for up to 5 subsidised sessions each calendar year where you will receive a Medicare Rebate of $58.30 each session.
  2. Eating Disorder Care Plan - allows for up to 20 subsidised sessions each calendar year where you will receive a Medicare Rebate of $58.30 each session. 

Will my private health fund cover any of the cost?

Most private health fund extras packages will provide some level of cover for Dietetic Services. Your level of cover however will often determine your rebate. Contacting your Private Health Fund directly will help you to determine what you are covered for under your policy and how much of the appointment costs you will get back.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

When you make an appointment, this time is set aside for you. Please be respectful of your clinician's time and other clients, and provide at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to make a scheduled appointment. An $85 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel within 24 hours of an appointment or if you fail to attend an appointment. Repeated failures to attend appointments will incur a full session fee.


We understand that in exceptional circumstances this may not be possible and are always happy to review your circumstances before charging the cancellation fee.
